Rest in peace, sweet Emma. You were the cutest, silliest, fluffiest best friend. I will miss you so much.
I couldn’t feel my toes most of the time I was in Nuremberg, but it’s okay. I still absolutely adored it.
I knew Christmas in Germany would be magical, but the Stuttgarter Weihnachtsmarkt totally blew me away.
Frankfurt has lots of cool stuff. For starters, there’s apfelwein, or apple wine, served from a ceramic jug called a bembel (which I am low-key obsessed with). There’s handkäse mit Musik, “cheese with music,” which is so named because it makes your stomach do crazy things. Then there’s grüne Soße, green sauce, which is dill-licious. And obviously, there is the Christmas Market.
Assorted scenes from life since the PCT, featuring the most beautiful autumn in recent memory, butternut squash, Blink, running, friends, the Red River Gorge, crochet, Halloween, and changes.
✨ It’s the obligatory annual AT #trailversary post! ✨
